The Lit Twis’t is dedicated to honoring the voices of Black women and female authors of color, creating a space where their stories are celebrated and appreciated. As a mobile bookstore, our mission is to inspire learning, spark meaningful connections, and cultivate a vibrant community grounded in cultural pride and storytelling. Through collaborations with local Black-owned businesses, thoughtfully curated events, and immersive experiences, we aim to make literature an integral part of life. By shining a light on underrepresented voices and fostering a love for reading, The Lit Twis’t is building a dynamic literary movement that uplifts communities and celebrates stories that matter.
